Westario Power would like to inform you of Capital Project work being performed in your service area for 2023:

Tree Trimming:  Ontario Line Clearing will commence tree trimming in the communities of Saugeen Shores in the summer of 2023.

Pole Line Rebuild: Westario Power construction crews will be completing pole line rebuilds in our service territory:

• Ottawa Avenue in Southampton – from Bruce Road 13 to Copway Street (Summer/Fall 2023)
• Pottawamie Drive in Southampton – Copway Street to Mississauga Street (Summer/Fall 2023)
• Morpeth Street in Southampton – Pole line rebuild (Fall 2023)
• Saugeen Street in Kincardine – Conaught Street service relocation (Fall 2023)
• Outram and Wheeler in Lucknow – Pole line rebuild (Fall 2023)
• 10th Avenue in Hanover – Pole line rebuild (Summer 2023)
• 7th Street in Hanover – Pole line rebuild (Summer 2023)
• Napier Street in Walkerton – Pole line rebuild (Summer 2023)
• South Street and McNab Street in Walkerton – Pole line rebuild (Summer/Fall 2023)

Underground Reconstruction:  Westario Power construction crews, along with third-party contractors, will commence underground civil and electrical construction to replace aging infrastructure:

• McPherson Crescent in Kincardine (Summer 2023)
• Maitland Crescent/Charles Street in Wingham (Fall 2023)

Subdivision Development: Coordination with developers on the preliminary and construction work of new industrial and subdivision development in multiple service areas:

• McTavish subdivision in Ripley
• Jane Street townhomes in Mildmay
• Hampton Woods subdivision in Southampton
• Cedar Heights subdivision in Hanover

Substation Upgrades: Westario Power construction crews, along with third-party contractors, will commence substation upgrades in the Towns of Port Elgin
