Westario Power would like to inform you of Capital Project work being performed in 2024:

Tree Trimming:  Ontario Line Clearing will commence tree trimming in the communities of Wingham, Teeswater, Walkerton, Elmwood, Clifford, Mildmay, Harriston, Palmerston, and Neustadt in late March of 2024.

Pole Line Rebuild: Westario Power construction crews will be completing pole line rebuilds in our service territory:

• Lambton Street and Queen Street in Kincardine (starting March 2024)
• Gibson Street in Walkerton (summer of 2024)
• McNab Street and Cunnigham Road in Walkerton (summer of 2024)

Underground Reconstruction:  Westario Power construction crews, along with third-party contractors, will commence underground civil and electrical construction to replace aging infrastructure:

• Palmateer Drive and Johnston Crescent in Kincardine (starting April 2024)

Substation Upgrades: Westario Power construction crews, along with third-party contractors, will commence substation upgrades in the Town of Teeswater.
